Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of rpmediallc.com and anything you request through it, including quotes and free mockups. They are written in plain English on purpose. If you hire RP Media LLC for a project, you will sign a separate written project agreement, and that agreement is what governs the actual work.
1. Who You Are Dealing With
This site is operated by RP Media LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("RP Media," "I," or "me"). RP Media designs and builds websites for construction and trades businesses. By using this site, requesting a quote, or accepting a free mockup, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
This site is intended for business owners and decision makers. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract on behalf of your business to request services.
2. This Site Is Information, Not an Offer
Everything on this site is provided for general information. Prices, timelines, and package descriptions are starting points, not binding offers. A price such as "starting at $500" is exactly that: a starting point for a standard build. Your actual price depends on your scope, and I will quote it to you directly.
Prices and add-on rates listed here can change at any time without notice. A price is only locked in once it is written into a signed project agreement.
3. Submitting the Form Does Not Create a Contract
Filling out the quote form is a request, not a purchase. It does not obligate you to buy anything and it does not obligate me to take the project. No work is owed and no payment is owed until both of these have happened:
- You and I sign a written project agreement covering the scope and price
- You pay the deposit stated in that agreement
You agree that the information you submit is accurate and that you have the authority to request services for the business you name.
4. Free Mockups
I sometimes provide a free redesign mockup so you can see what a modern version of your site could look like. There is no charge and no obligation to buy. In exchange, these terms apply:
- The mockup stays mine. Until you pay for a build, RP Media owns the design, the code, and the layout. You are given it to look at and evaluate, not to use.
- You may not use it. You may not publish it, host it, copy it, resell it, or hand it to another designer or developer to rebuild or take inspiration from.
- I may reuse it. I may adapt the design work for other projects or show it as a portfolio or example piece.
- Your materials. A mockup may include your logo, photos, and text pulled from your existing public website purely to illustrate the redesign. If you would rather I not use them, email me and I will remove them and delete the mockup.
Once you pay in full for a build, ownership of that finished site transfers to you under your project agreement. The free mockup on its own transfers nothing.
5. Timelines
Stated timelines, including the 7-day standard build and the 48-hour express option, begin once your deposit and all required materials have been received, not from the day you first contact me. Required materials include your photos, logo, confirmed business details, service list, and domain access where applicable.
If materials or feedback are delayed, the delivery date moves back by the same amount of time. Your project agreement sets the specific dates that apply to your build.
6. No Guarantee of Business Results
RP Media builds websites. RP Media does not guarantee any specific business outcome. That includes leads, phone calls, form submissions, booked jobs, sales, revenue, or where your site ranks in Google or any other search engine.
Those outcomes depend on factors a website cannot control, such as demand, pricing, competition, seasonality, your service area, and how quickly you follow up with the people who contact you. What is guaranteed is that the work described in your project agreement gets done, and done well.
Any figures, examples, or timeframes shown on this site illustrate what is possible. They are not a promise of what you will get.
7. This Website's Content
The design, code, copy, logos, and images on rpmediallc.com are owned by RP Media LLC or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to this site. You may not copy, republish, scrape, or repurpose its design or content without written permission.
Client work shown on this site is displayed as portfolio material. Client names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of those businesses.
8. Acceptable Use
When using this site, you agree not to:
- Submit false information or impersonate another person or business
- Use the contact form to send spam, solicitations, or bulk messages
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its host, or its data
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest the site with automated tools
- Interfere with the site's normal operation or attempt to disrupt it
- Use the site for anything unlawful
I may block access to anyone who violates these terms.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
This site and the sites I build rely on outside services I do not own or control, including domain registrars, web hosts, form and email tools, payment processors, and Google. I set these up, but I am not responsible for their outages, price changes, policy changes, or the way they handle data under their own terms.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. I do not control or endorse their content.
10. The Site Is Provided As Is
This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RP Media disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components.
11. Limit of Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RP Media LLC and Ryan Paul are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost business, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of this site or from any free mockup or quote.
For anyone who is not a paying client, total liability arising out of this site is limited to $100. For clients, the limit of responsibility in your signed project agreement applies instead, and it caps liability at the amount you paid for your project.
12. Your Responsibility for What You Send Me
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send me, including photos, logos, text, and reviews, and that the business details you provide are accurate. If someone claims you did not have the right to use something you supplied, resolving that is your responsibility, and you agree to cover any resulting claims, damages, or costs I incur.
13. Privacy
How I handle the information you submit is covered in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Which Document Wins
If you become a client, your signed project agreement controls the work: scope, price, payment schedule, revisions, timeline, ownership, and cancellation. If anything in these terms conflicts with your signed agreement, the signed agreement wins for that project. These terms continue to govern your general use of this website.
15. Working Things Out
If there is a problem, contact me first. Most issues get solved with a phone call. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, either of us can pursue other options.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and both sides consent to that jurisdiction.
16. Changes to These Terms
I may update these terms as the business changes. The current version is always posted here with the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Changes do not alter a project agreement you have already signed.
17. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term right away does not waive it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any signed project agreement, are the entire agreement between us regarding this website.
